This page is for people who use the Twosies app (published by VibeKin) and want their account and the data attached to it deleted.
Delete it from inside the app
- Open Twosies and go to the Us tab.
- Tap the gear icon in the top corner to open Settings.
- Scroll to Danger, type
DELETEinto the field and tap Delete my account.
That is the whole procedure. There is no waiting period and no email to confirm. Deleting your account also ends your pair: your partner keeps a read-only copy of the shared history, but nothing of yours is visible to them any more.
If you can’t open the app
Email [email protected] from the address you linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you never linked an email (guest account), tell us the invite code you used to pair and the approximate date you joined so we can find the right account. We reply within a few days and confirm when it is done.
What is deleted
Within 30 days of the request we permanently remove:
- your profile (name, birth date, linked email);
- every answer, guess and free-text reply you wrote;
- your chat messages in the pair;
- your test results and check-in scores;
- your push notification token and device identifiers.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records live with Apple or Google under their own policies; refunds and receipts are handled there. On our side only the entitlement status (which plan the pair had) is stored, and it goes with the account within the same 30 days.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics (for example “how many rounds were played on a given day”) contain nothing that identifies you and are retained for up to 24 months.
- Backups are rotated on a fixed schedule; a deleted account disappears from them within the same 30-day window.
