Couples quiz: 25 questions to see how well you know each other

A couples quiz checks how well you can predict your partner, question by question, such as their first reaction to a last-minute plan. Here it runs on a single phone: one of you picks an answer privately, the other guesses, and the round ends with a count of correct guesses. Twosies kept these 25 mostly light.

  2. You trip or drop something in public. First instinct? Laugh at myself right away · Freeze, hope nobody saw · Fix it first, laugh later · Take a bow
  3. How do you pick what to watch? Whatever's shortest · Whatever I've seen before · Whatever's new to me · I scroll forever and pick nothing
  4. Someone sends a voice message instead of a text. What do you do? Play it right away · Read the transcript instead · Let it sit there unplayed
  5. Leftovers for breakfast: where do you stand? Best meal of the day · Only if it's pizza · Absolutely not
  6. A day off with nothing planned. How does the morning go? Sleep in as long as possible · Up early, out the door · Up early, still in pajamas at noon
  7. Your phone hits 1%. What do you do? Plug it in and wait · Use it till it dies · Turn it off to save it · Mine never gets that low
  8. Someone's walking slowly in front of you. What do you do? Wait patiently · Find a way around · Match their pace

  14. What is the first thing you do when you get home? Change into sweatpants immediately · Open the fridge without being hungry · Put something on for the noise · Collapse onto the couch
  15. What did you notice about them first? Their face or eyes · Their laugh or smile · Their voice · How they carried themselves

  1. Your partner suggests a last-minute plan for tonight. First reaction? I'm in, let's go · Depends what it is · Yes, but give me a minute · I'd rather stay in
  2. Someone tells a joke that lands badly at your table. You: Find the failure funnier than the joke · Offer a worse one to reset the room · Steer the conversation somewhere else · Laugh anyway, to be kind
  3. Whose misfortune do you find funniest? My own, usually before anyone else notices · Strangers, who never know I laughed · The people I love, said with affection · Nobody's, it makes me cringe
  4. Something good happens to you. What's your first move? Tell my partner before anyone · Sit with it for a minute · Mention it, but play it down · Tell everyone, immediately

Questions people ask

What questions are on a couples quiz?

Multiple-choice questions about everyday you: your first reaction to a last-minute plan, what you do when you trip in public, which comedy you rewatch until you know the lines. Each one has three or four options, so guessing your partner is harder than it sounds.

How is the couples quiz scored?

Each correct guess is a hit. At the end of a round the page shows how many each of you guessed right out of the cards you played. The score lives only in that round; nothing is saved once you close the page.

What is a good score on a couples quiz?

There's no passing grade. Couples who have been together for years still miss plenty, because people change and habits hide. A miss is the most useful result you can get: ask why they picked what they did.
